Spanxs!!...No Longer Just for Women!?!?

So...Apparently spanx-type body shapers are no longer for women! The Core Precision Undershirt by Equmen is being deemed as the new Spanx for men. It acts the same as a girdle would for a woman...focusing mostly on the stomach area to suck everything in and give you a leaner look!

So guys what do you think??? Would you wear it? Or even a Mirdle (man's girdle)?

I've heard people say, "but what happens when he takes it off?" The same thing that happens when women take theirs off, or takes out their hair weave, butt pads, fingernails, I mean the list goes on and on! Women have done it for centuries, so I say men if you feel comfortable, go for it!

I just recently found this cool website called thisnext.com. It's pretty interesting, it's a website where members share items that they found with each other...you can find anything from scooters to purses. You just type what you're looking for in the search engine and some unique items come up. (which I like, because I love finding things that are unique and that nobody else has!) You can also become a member if you want.

Bag Borrow or Steal...Lesson Learned!

In one of my earlier posts I mentioned the site Bag Borrow or Steal and how I had just recently purchased a necklace from their site...I got the necklace today and...it SUCKS!

It is so ugly...it looks nothing like the picture and it looks cheap! It definitely doesn't look like the $125 I paid for it. Luckily they said that if I send it back within 30 days that I will get a full refund so I will be sending it back ASAP!

So...when buying from this site BEWARE...personally I don't think I will be buying from this site ever again!!!

Definitely a lesson learned.

"Its a Recession, Everybody's Broke"

Unless you've been living under a rock, I know you're feeling the economic times that our country is facing!

This not only affects businesses, the housing market, and banks but it also affects the fashion industry as well.

But this won't get us down, right ladies and gents!?! One way to create a fabulous outfit (without having to tap into your bill money which you promised yourself you wouldn't spend) is to ACCESSORIZE!

Accessories can set off any outfit, not matter how basic. Remember its all about jewelry, shoes and bags! If you have a basic outfit punch it up with color in the accessories that you choose. Good websites to check out to get high quality jewelry and purses at a reasonable price are Bag Borrow or Steal and Bidz.com.

The first suggestion is for the ladies. Bag Borrow or Steal was first featured in the Sex and the City movie (remember Jennifer Hudson's character and her Louis Vuitton bag??) Every since I found out about this site I can't get enough! It offers you a service that allows you to rent designer bags at a weekly or monthly rate. They now offer an equity program, that allows you to build equity towards owning your very own bag! Another aspect of the company that I like is that they have an outlet section where you can purchase bags and jewelry at a reduced price (sometimes even 70% off). Its a good way to get quality without the large price tag.

Starting With the Basics (Specifically for the Ladies)

Before any fabulous outfit can be created we have to start with the basics!

There are various body shapes and the idea is to figure out which one that you are and the best way to dress your particular shape. Check out this good source that I found!

Also, every good outfit starts with the goodies that's underneath them! This means that ladies we must must must wear the correct bra and underwear for the garments that we wear. It's important to know your correct bra size (since many of us are usually wearing the wrong size!) There are various places that allow you to get sized. A good one to check out if you live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is The Maddox Shop.

You can find quality bra's in department stores but you need to be sure you have the correct measurements when going shopping for one. There are various online information sites that can be very helpful. Here is a good one!

After you have found the correct bra you need to make sure that you have the correct panties to match. Remember panty lines are not cute! Guys do not want to see that (and believe me...neither do other women!) So be aware of the correct style of panties you should be wearing with your garments.
